After a pause, he adds, “Once, I was having dinner with Saif at his house when he showed me his picture with her. She was without make-up. She looked lovely. So we thought of shooting her without make-up. Kareena has beauty and incredible talent. If I were ever to make a black and white film I would choose her. She has high cheekbones and a Meryl Streep like pain and intensity on her face. She’s too good to waste.”

Finally someone agrees with me on Kareena and her looks. She is wasted in glossy make-up and pouty faced characters.
Even in Asoka Kareena looked beautiful without make up, but TBH, she always shoes bitchy roles which evoke no positive feeling for her from my side :D
