I knew it! What "place" does James Cameron love spending more time in other than outer space? Under the water, of course, he loves diving and most of his movies have had an underwater element or inspiration to them. In a brand new interview with Hero Complex, Cameron openly confirmed that the sequel, Avatar 2, will focus "on the ocean on Pandora, which will be equally rich and diverse and crazy and imaginative." It's an interesting interview so I suggest reading the entire thing, since Cameron talks about the re-release and all the radical environmental "reactions" to Avatar (like these crazy protesters in Palestine).
