What a great feeling!! The thing I like the most in this video is that the lady who announces his name says 'Rai' and not 'Ray'. Even most of the Indians call him 'Ray'. It was good to see an American pronounce his name correctly.
Wow - that is some rare footage! I think the actress is Audrey Hepburn, and Satyajit Ray acknowledges proudly the influence of HW on his movie-making. But I think his films went on to influence world cinema and had a soul that was lacking in a majority of BW films.
