Great experiment Illusionist! And what a good album to start it. I have loved MM Kreem's music since Paheli. This is a fine album. Did not know Kreem sang too.
Even Sur starring Lucky Ali had some fantastic songs.
So yes, I agree with Illusionist that MM Kreem never got the recognition he deserved. Maybe it is because he never got the right films. Even 'Lahore' looks like a crap film to me.
@Illusionist: Hey, this is a brilliant way to listen to some excellent music without the distraction of videos... MM Kreem is a metaphor for soft and soulful music and has always been one of my favorites. His songs from Sur (Dil mein jaagi dhadkan, aa bhi jaa), Criminal (Tum mile, dil khile), Jism (Jaadu hai nasha hai)are very haunting and melodious. I just wish he would compose more songs for hindi films!

Trying out something new here. Embedded "Lahore" songs from Raaga to listen. Let me know what you guys think ? Liked it ? Hated it ?
The one downside is you have to keep this 'post' open in a separate tab.

Pardesi - What ? You have not heard songs from Jism.. ? "Awaarapan Banjarapan" is an awesome song which was sung by MM Kreem..
Pardesi-
Another good one is "Anjana" from Dhokha. There are many good songs in Dhokha. Check it out.
MM Kreem has some good compositions to his credit, and i believe he never got the recognition he deserved.
How could I forget Awaarapan Banjaraapan - love that song. Will check out Dhokha too. Yes, he deserves more credit than he gets.
Awaarapan Banjaarapan is excellent. Zakhm too had an excellent song "Gali me aaj chand nikla" composed by him.
