Ranbir Kapoor says no to Mani Ratnam's next project. Contrary to popular rumours RK is not doing the film. Instead, he has gone ahead and greenlighted Anurag Basu's next film. Ranbir has also committed to Imtiaz Ali's upcoming movie Rockstar. Having some of the best directors in the country chasing him, Ranbir is definitely hot property in the business.

Lara and Ash leave Crooked in trouble
bhinay Deo’s next film for Excel Entertainment, Crooked seems be in trouble. Now before you jump to a conclusion it’s not getting shelved. They’re just having a hard time finding an actress. Apparently after Aishwarya Rai Bachchan backed out of the film they approached Lara Dutta. Now the buzz is that Lara asked for a hefty sum and hence that also didn’t work out. So the now the search is back on. Let’s see which lady bags this role finally.

Ace Khan's Marketing Genius
After the success of Ghajini, Aamir's marketing genius is back at work again. We've already started seeing the tri-coloured bum-shaped seats across malls in India and ‘Aal iz well’ has become quite the popular catch phrase. But Ace Khan doesn't stop there. He is now on the road with signs behind rickshaws that say, "Capacity: 3 Idiots". For those who don't know, rickshaw banners were used successfully by the Maharashtra Government to promote education for the girl child: "Mulgi shikli pragati zhaali (if the girl child is educated, the family progresses)" campaign. The release is just three weeks away and we can't wait to see what Aamir pulls out of his sleeve.

Shah Rukh Khan's autobiography out in 2010
We hear, Shah Rukh Khan is working on his autobiography titled, '20 years to a decade'. The book is scheduled for release in the April of 2010. People who have gotten a sneak peek into the narrative say that the voice is very much unlike King Khan as we know him and he has underplayed himself completely. The parts of the book we're really looking forward to are the ones where he talks about the media and his kids with a certain level of candidness.

Shahana says, "It was really wonderful working on the video. Siddharth Sikand, the director is very talented. He came up with the concept and was keen on having me after watching Rock On. I didn't know how to drive a Fiat cab and it took me 3 days to pick that up. Eventually, I drove through the busy roads of Mumbai. I'm happy to know that Dido was pleased. I really like the feel of the song as well and am happy that I'm associated with it."
