The nominations in Best Negative role is pathetic.
Kay Kay Menon for Gulaal, Manish Chaudhri for Rocket Singh. How were these two roles negative? Everyone in Gulaal belonged to the same thaali. In Rocket Singh, the Boss was only being professional. Does that mean he was negative? Hahahahahaha. I always thought Screen awards were the best among the other BW awards functions. After all they gave the more deserving Naseeruddin Shah best supporting actor for Iqbal above Abhishek Bachchan for Sarkar. They gave Shweta Prasad best supporting actress instead of Ayesha Kapoor for Black.
But here, they got it completely wrong. Wake Up Sid deserved a nomination for the best film. Ranbir Kapoor deserved a nomination for Wake Up Sid too, Dev.D should have WON the best music award, Piyush Mishra should have WON the Best Suppoting Actor....I agree with Masand. The nominations are very disappointing.
