MUMBAI: If it was a fight between the Khans before the release of Ghajini and Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, it seems that there is now going to be peace before the release of 3 Idiots and My Name is Khan. Aamir Khan has taken the first step towards burying the hatchet with Shah Rukh Khan.
The actor apologised to Shah Rukh and his family on a talk show on Saturday night. When he was told that Shah Rukh's children, who were his fans, were upset with him because of his blog, Aamir said, "I really respect Shah Rukh, especially because he is a family man. He takes care of his family. If I have hurt their sentiments, I offer my unconditional apology to Shah Rukh and his family.''
Aamir denied that he called Shah Rukh the number 2 star. "I had said I consider Sachin Tendulkar as the numero uno, but he does not say that himself.''
On the remark about calling his dog SRK, Aamir said it was said as a joke. He no longer calls the dog Shah Rukh, but calls him Shaaki.

Farah Khan's new best friend Akshay Kumar is cementing their friendship by helping the director get a good deal in a posh suburban apartment
Farah Khan has been interested in buying an apartment in Oberoi Sky Heights, Lokhandwala for a while now. Himesh Reshammiya owns three floors in the same building that has a pool on the top floor. Farah has set her eyes on a flat in another wing of the same building and has been very keen on it since Diwali.
The building is owned by builder Vicky Oberoi, who is a good friend of Akshay Kumar, who is now a good friend of Farah Khan. Akshay has put in a word for her with the builder, who he has grown up playing cricket with. So hopefully, Farah will end up with a good deal and be the proud owner of a fancy new apartment.
A source says, “Akshay has become very friendly with Farah. He wants the best for her. He wants Farah to get a good deal and Vicky is his bum chum.”
Later this week, we hear, Akshay and Vicky are even meeting up to discuss the matter. Farah was most amused as she said, “Akshay Kumar is not my broker.”

Recently the theatrical promo of Salman Khan’s Veer was unveiled at a suburban theatre and we finally got a glimpse of the much talked about Katrina Kaif look alike, Zarine Khan in the promo. The resemblance is shocking and when a journalist asked Salman why he didn’t just use Katrina in the movie he said, “The film was offered to her but she was very busy with her other movies.” Later when Flmfare met Katrina and asked her why she didn’t take out time to do Veer she coolly said, “I was never offered the film.” Who do you believe?
