Depending upon which article you read, you can say that its either SRK who has dumped Farah, or its Farah who has dumped SRK for her next directorial venture, but the sound bites its creating, the news can not be overlooked as just another BW rumor.
SRK dumps Farah
Farah choses Akki over SRK
See it anyway, I see it as a blessing in disguise. Farah for me was never a director I wanted SRK to be associated with. MHN or OSO, both were pretty bad to ordinary products at the best, which did well more because of SRK, promotions and mass appeal. But no matter how much BO success they generated, they still were not the kinds I liked, or many liked.
At the same time, can it be possible that SRK is producing the flick which stars Akki and directed by Farah? Will explain a alot about SRK-Akki meeting recently.
Sorry for not giving a warning to wear your shades before looking at the green jacket.
So, is it that SRK has realized that he has to do something better than OSO and MHN? Farah got pissed off at SRK for delaying her ambitious venture Happy New Year? or SRK has realized the power of brand Akshay and wants to cast him in his own production house?
Any which way you look, its interesting to say the least.

Looking at both the links posted by Kunal in this post, I think the contents of both the posts are quite opposite to what it is titled. The first one is titled - "SRK dumps Farah" and talks about Farah choosing Akshay over SRK. The second one is titled - "Farah choses Akki over SRK" and talks about SRK not able to gives dates due to his prior commitments. Somehow, its funny. :D

Very well put.
Farah has a flair for comedy, but her brand of comedy never really works for everyone. I love it! I consider her a powerhouse in a male dominated industry. Now it remains to be seen if her power was a shadow of SRK or it is genuine.
As for SRK himself, the sands are running out, and it is time to explore new ground and better roles, HNY would be the same territory. Yes it would be a big success but still nothing new. So I am glad!
Will all those who hated Farah's films, now begin to appreciate them? I doubt her style of film-making will change with the lead actor.
